I received this email today from Sean Durieux at Alni Ltd. It seemed suspicious, so I did not open the attachment (a check?). The body of the note is copied below for your reference. I read about the scam by Googling the company.

We processed a payment to you while reconciling open invoices.

A check has been mailed out and a copy attached and included in this email.
