Friday evening on May 27th, I was working on a project in my office. I had a few browsers open and I opened another to google search something I needed to include on this project and typed an incorrect letter in the google spelling in the browser. It opened a frontiersearch.com browser with a list to pick from, which all of them was something that seemed google.com. I clicked on the 1st top one, that said google.com. When I did, immediately I got a popup that in a loud voice, saying your computer is locked. To unlock your computer, you must call 1-866-285-0655. It said other things also but returned to repeating to call this number to have a technician to unlock the computer. So, I called this number to hear what it had to tell me. Fortunately, I was able to unlock this on my own. However, when I called this number, a male answer 'hello'. I paused and said that my computer locked from a search and that the popup said to call this 866 number. He replied, 'yes, I can help.' At this point I just hung the phone up and within 10 seconds, he called me back from this number 703-894-0822 I asked him (pretending my computer was still locked), what do I do and he followed up with it will cost $149.99 for 3 months of his professional support or $300.00 for a 12 month period of this phone support. I followed up with asking why it had his number to call in this popup and he did his best to change the conversation on what kind of support he can provide, avoiding the direct question. After a few minutes of not getting anywhere with him on this unanswered question, I said it sounds like to me like a scam, something like you took my wallet and want money to give it back. I then asked for his url and he right away hung the phone up. Following, I did a search on allinone.tech (since when he called back, my caller ID said who was calling), and found the website, which had the number 800-487-9456. I called this number and he answered! When I said who I was, he hung up again.

BBB, this is a scam he is doing! Many people would have fallen for this and paid, only to be held hostage by this thief. I also noticed they have a D rating with the BBB.
