In July 2019, I received several calls referring to a credit card debt and threat to garnish my pay check. I immediately settled and made a payment to what I thought was cleared and off my credit. I received confirmation letter however did not realize there was no account number listed on the letter. Recently I have been receiving lots of calls to collect a debt again with threat to garnish, however this time it is a legal office who states this is still on my credit and this letter of confirmation is not valid due to no account number listed.
