I received a call from a number listed from Washington DC(1-202-600-3861) which I have gotten a few calls from over the last few weeks. They told me that somebody had important papers for me when I answered and finally got someone on phone, they couldn't tell me what it was about just gave me the number1-855-828-6997. This is alliance law group, when I called this number I have them the case number that was given to me and when I spoke to a lawyer (Keith Johnson) I was told that ace loans was putting out charges on me for attempting to defraud them on a 500 loan I got. And that they attempted to settle with me for 689 dollars, and I refused so now they are seeking over 1500 dollars. No one can provide me with any paperwork or proof that this was me. I refuse to give any bank account information over the phone, but this are supposedly felony charges.

Company called one of my family members (from phone number 855-828-6997) and told them I needed to call 855-776-7025 about an unpaid debt and upcoming court appearance. I called the number and was connected to an attorney of the Alliance Law Group who gave me a name of Keith Johnson. Meanwhile I had gone onto the Alliance Law Group website and found where they had posted a fraud alert and said anyone in doubt if a call from their group was legit to see if the attorney name was on their directory, which of course Keith Johnson was not. They told me charges had been filed against me for attempting to defraud a financial institution. I kept asking him to provide me with additional information about the case and he could only tell me it had to do with a Personal Cash Advance. I asked when the deposit was suppose to have happened and they could not tell me. I have never had any kind of cash advance. I told this gentlemen that this was a fraud/scam and he told me it was not and was getting a little rude. I then told him that the website even spoke about the fraud going on and that he wasn't listed as an attorney for the group. I then asked him where, if there was suppose to be a hearing, was the hearing going to be. I was given the Mayor's court, which is completely incorrect, they would never hear any case dealing with this. I was then put on hold and the man never came back on. I did call the Mayor's court and was told there was nothing on file for me and that I was correct, they do not hear these type of cases.
