I received a phone call from a local number, the lady said she was from Alliance Diagnostic Lab and I bill that went to collections for a lab panel. The amount she quoted was $400 and change, she spoke quickly, then the line was cut off. I call back and someone from the switchboard answered, did not give a company name and said the person overseeing my account would call me back to go over my account and that they accept only visa or Mastercard. I told him I knew this was a scam and he became quite rude and began interrupting me. I asked him to transfer me to to whomever could take me off their list and his response was we don't call people out of the blue, only those with bills in collections. I have no outstanding medical bills and know I have nothing in collections.
