I was contacted by an agent named Aaron via phone and he knew all of my student loan payments and the amount of loans I still had. He claimed he was from student aid and would help me consolidate my student debt. I submitted student loan applications to a person named joy via email that included my social security number all all my personal information (address, work, debit card etc). It seemed legit to me because I actually did see loan consolidation processing on my my fed student loan account. He also knew exactly what I owed and what I have paid with no information from me. They set me up with 5 months of payments in the amount of 238 a month and told me after those 5 months then my student loan monthly payments would drop down to 67 a month with the PSLF program. They stole over 900 dollars from me and consolidated my loans. They also now have enough information from me to steal my identity.
