I purchased a French bulldog pup from Allen Garcia in Hanover, PA advertised on hoobly.com for $1400. Picked up what I thought was a healthy puppy with vaccination records and vet health certificate dated only 4 days earlier. Less than 3 days after pick-up, took sick puppy to emergency vet clinic where it tested positive for parvo. Emailed scanned documents of proof of dog's illness to "Mr. Garcia", who has promised to send me a refund per the Puppy Lemon Law of PA. However, he has come up with excuse after excuse for why he can't refund my money. I am currently waiting on refund but made him aware I will file against him in small claims court if I don't get my money. I found another ad for Frenchies with the same text and same phone #, but the name on this ad is Aldo Alvires. This guy is very shady - he posts pics of puppies online but then sends pics of different dogs when contacted. Claims dam of litter is onsite, and puppies have been socialized with kids and cats but I saw none of these things when I went to get the puppy. I'm out $150 for the vet visit, about $75 for puppy gear that is contaminated with the parvo virus and probably my original $1400.
