They have ripped me off hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the past few years. The agents at FREEWAY INSURANCE HEADQUARTERS 18003961485 and ALL STAR GENERAL CALL CENTER, the agents at COST-U-LESS in CHICO CA off COHASSET RD and the agents working at FREEWAY INSURANCE In PARADISE, CA on CLARK RD. should all be sued and locked up for what they have been doing to individuals for years now! They lie and say they are adding your car or you to your policy with STONEWOOD/ALL STAR GENERAL and they do all the paperwork and then dispose of it afterward and tell you that you will get cards in the mail and you do but ONLY ADD THE DRIVER and NOT THE VEHICLE even after providing them with all of said vehicles information including the VIN. They have done this to me TWICE. And once to the only other person I know that lacked the funds to go to a real insurance company so turned to them. They are CHEAP for a reason. They provide no service and then will charge you double and at first say the amount was for the car getting addEd to the policy, including the brokers fee, then tac money to your monthly bill and say the original payments were a brokers fee!! Umm nooooo that is NOT WHAT THEY SAID IN THE OFFICE! IM NOT GETTING CHARGED TWICE FOR SOMETHING THAT WASNT EVEN SPECIFIED TO BEGIN WITH! This company needs to be SHUT DOWN and any company that associated with them should be terminated as well. Originally known as STONEWOOD INSURANCE but now they changed their name (because of the word spreading on how DISHONEST & UNPROFESSIONAL this company is Im sure) Now to ALL STAR GENERAL INSURANCE Through FREEWAY INSURANCE AND NOW COST-U-LESS decided to join in the corruption. THese INSURANCE COMPANIES MENTIONED will charge you money to make a change to your policy and then NOT CHANGE, ADD OR COVER a dam thing and then charge you again and go back on what they said originlly. THEY ARE LIARS AND NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. Ive heard multiple cases of whatS been done to me also done to every single person thats unfortunately insured with them. The employees will Purposely spell peoples names wrong or exclude the individual or their vehicle from their own policy and then an accident happens (happened to my spouse and someone I know as well) so they dont have to cover it!!! Now my spouseis being sued because our car that we specifically went there to insure wasnt covered!!! They will charge $50 to remove the previous owners name from your policy that was never insured with them to begin with! How does that even make sense?? They cancel your policy wirh no notice if your a day late on the monthly bill and charge a $80 fee to reinstate. Im on time every month but Im late once and they cancel my policy??? They told me I had 9 days to pay after due date and then yet agAin go back on what they said. They will increase your monthly bill with no notice or reason and everytime they cancel the policy after one time of being a day late they increase your monthly bill. I have been insured with them for four years and Always on time with payments. This is illegal and a voilation of the consitution and I wont stop filing complaints until these people are INVESTIGATED, REGULATED AND JUSTICE IS SERVED.
