I received a letter in the mail from an Alfred Bernardo with Alfred Consultants Inc. The business is using an Ontario address. The letter states that I have a deceased relative and that I am the beneficiary of this deceased relative's $6.2 million life insurance. The letter states that this relative had no will and no immediate relatives. I was found by a search of our last names and this Mr. Bernardo believes I am an extended relative. I am to reply by email or fax with my complete name and address, occupation, phone/fax, email address, and reference number in order to claim the money. The letter specifically says "do not mail any documents for security reasons."
