I met this individual on the dating website "Bumble" he introduced himself and we started talking. He seem to know all the right things to say to seem like we were a perfect match. I never met him he worked as an independent contractor. He was aware of the layout of the city and knew the community names. He said he was going to Paris for Christmas to spend time with his daughter and grandkids and mother. He sent me pictures of him with his daughter and grandkids and mother and even pictures in front of the Eiffel tower and around Paris. He then had to go to Turkey for business and yet again was very convincing with pictures of the Turkish market and scenery. He asked if I would buy him a iTunes gift card for $200.00 and send him the picture of it, then he asked for me to but an amazon gift card for his grandson. That progressed to questions about my credit, if I have access to a line of credit etc. He made a payment of $11000.00 on my credit card and then asked me to pull the money off to buy a couple computers and send them to him in Turkey. I of course verified he made the payment and he did I took $800 off my card to pay bills and then my card was frozen because the payment was not traceable and it bounced. He was very smooth and had almost model like pictures and he talked about our future and that we should get married. He even said he bought a couple rings in Turkey and sent me the picture. I talked with him for about 5-6 weeks until the credit card issue then I told him to get lost. Beware of the slick ones that look too good to be true and promise you the world. After 10years of being single it was everything I wanted to hear and now I am picking up the pieces...once again.
