I found this description reported by another person....it is IDENTICAL to my experience... ( I added some slight details that were different) I met a man on ZOOSK.com (she met him on MATCH.com) and he claimed to be a successful business owner. After courting me for two weeks and constantly professing his love for me, sending me pictures and telling me about him and his daughter, he said he had to go to Mexico for business. Things went well for two weeks with him supposedly in Mexico until he said he could not pay customs for the pipes to finish the job. He also claimed to have a daughter who turned 9 on May 16th who was with him....she reportedly had heart issues and she ended up in the hospital so he used all of his money paying for her bills. He said he needed 23k total or he would loose the contract. He started telling me that he was getting chunks of the money from friends and family but was down to $6000 that he needed. This was the last oddity as I noticed his website had improper English, his accent was NOT Australian (he said he was from Australia), and why would a successful business man not have good credit and plenty of money to cover his costs? I wouldn't offer to give him any money as I was warned of this sort of thing. He kept saying he got this money from one person, then this money from another, until he said he only needed 6k. I found a report about him on ScamPulse.com and never got the bank information from him. I cannot afford this type of thing anyway. This is the bank info he told the other lady to have the money put into. She also has a copy of his passport. She suspects he is catfishing several women at once because she saw that there were at least 6 searches on his phone number in the past month. I agree.
