I found Shiba Inu puppies listed for sale on puppyfind.com. I contacted the seller thru puppyfind.com and they reached out to me via text message. We discussed the puppy I wanted thru text and they asked for me to send them a deposit in order to hold the puppy for me. They told me the deposit was refundable if I changed my mind. I sent them the deposit and when I found out their actual location was 7 hours away instead of an hour away based on the address on their site (https://akitanshibainu.us). When I found out the address on their site was not correct, I decided to back out of the deal and ask for my refundable deposit back. They then became pushy and wanted to sell me the puppy and ship it to me. I said no thank you and asked for my deposit back. They then said they sent the deposit without sending me a confirmation of the deposit. I never received my deposit and reached out to them multiple times with no response. They had me send them $250 directly to their personal Zelle account under the name of Lauren Tackett with the phone number (713) 851-5699. This is a scam. I reported them to puppyfind.com as well. Their website looks legitimate but the for the prices they have their puppies listed for in comparison to other breeders, they're extremely cheap. That is how they are able to get people to put deposits down for their puppies. Do not buy or believe that these puppies exist.
