DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They are good! They ask all the right questions, give you a contract, keep in touch with you, send additional pictures for the dog. In the end you end up paying and never get a puppy. And with Zelle it is almost impossible to get your money back.

I lost money on a puppy...NOTHING could be verified with the seller they would only allow money sent through Zelle, cash pay, or apple pay.
I received a call from Cash Pay that this was a scam I have filed with the police and given them ALL info

It just happened to me this is a scam. Sent 600.00 +700.00. No puppy.

Website describes Akita puppies for sale. Advertised as $800 with registration and offers shipping. Consistant emails back and forth and then comes to shipping. Explained theres a $1500 refundable insurance for shipping of puppy. This is where I finally caught a red flag. I received a phone call from shipping company asking for the funds. Emailed “breeder” asking for help. They replied that they couldnt cover it due to wife having an emergency. I asked for a refund and got a reply of I need to pay shipper if I want my puppy. At this time I called my bank to claim fraud.

We stumbled on Akita Dream Home website yesterday (7/11/2021), texted back and forth with the “seller”, we were sent a contract to sign and sent money through zelle ($800 for the dog, $200 for shipping). Puppy was supposed to be shipped the next day for the delivery on the same day. The seller said she will send us a tracking number. We received an email from a weird website with tracking number. When we tracked that number it said the puppy was “on hold” because the insurance was needed. Five minute later we received a call from Tulsa, OK. Some guy said he is from this shipping company and we need to pay $1500 for pet insurance in order to get our dog. I said we are not paying that amount, and I will contact the seller for the refund. This supposed seller said she will call the shipping company. That’s was 5 hours ago. I requested the full amount to be refunded via text and via both emails—no response. I filed the police report, complaint with BBB, and talked to my bank to open investigation. I looked at the website and neither of the dogs look the same. They supposedly came from the same parents, but even parents don’t look like puppies. The website is full of misspellings, and there are handful of reviews—this “breeder” supposedly was in the business for a decade.
