AJJ Direct Solutions Reports & Reviews (6)

Our car broke down 70 miles ftom our home. Had to wait hours for tow truck. Had to find way home so I googled rental cars. Got a number for what was disguised as Budget rental cars. Called them, was told I needed an American Express card to secure a rental. I cant remember why they said it needed to be American Express, they suggested I purchase an American Express gift card (that shouldve been my first clue SCAM). They gave me a direct # to call back on after I got the card. They also told me I needed to meet them at a central location as they would deliver the car there. I suggested the local airport, but they said we couldnt (again cant remember their reason, however, 2nd clue SCAM). I feel so stupid and victimized. They were supposed to meet us at mall. Time was of the essence as it was a Sunday evening and they would be closed after 8pm. Well I fell for it all! Now thinking back I wished I was more intuitive as to how easily it is to become scammed. I was under pressure with the time constraint they purposed as saying we had to transact before 8pm, it was around 730ish when attempting to rent the car. Well after I gave them the card info and waited over 1/2 hour for them to come with the car and no one shows, I called back and did talk with someone else, then got the run-a-round, xfered to someone else, who said I needed to pay additional amount and Id be reimbursed when driver came. BAM I then realized I had been scammed!@#$@^$ I did report to police but didnt get a warm feeling that theyd be able to track or trace the f__kers. My suggestion to any/every one is if asked to provide a gift card for payment DO NOT! This is your first clue that it is probable that you are going to be scammed! It BLOWS my mind that they are able to get away with this and evidentily never caught. I would think with all the technology today that it wouldnt be to hard to trace/track them down. However, by reading all the previous comments here, they are still able to scam people and get away with it. Youd think that there would be some way to infiltrate these scammers, go undercover, get in with them as an employee. There has to be people who work for them. How'd they get their jobs? Another thing to keep in mind, is if you google make sure the link you choose is legimate. I obviously didnt pay any attention to what I thought was Budget Rental cars as that is what popped up, however, not the official link for them. I lost $300 to those f__kers. But I do believe that those whom participate in these practices will eventually have their own bad experiences. What goes around comes around! BE AWARE. cat

This company is a Scam and a fraud. They pretend to budget rental . They asked for America express card and after I provided to them they cashed the $800 on the card. I called America express and they couldn’t stop it. I am taking every action to retrieve my money back including contacting the Hawaii AG office and federal trade commission. Watch out people!

On May 1, 2021 I had a car break down and was looking for car rental near me on GA State Highway 10E, a friend googled Budget Rental near us and she called the number 888 760 5602 that popped up. The guy on phone by name Jeffery Magnus gave me what he said was his direct number 855-718-0080 xtn 019 said American Express is running a promotion and that I should buy an Amex Gift card, being that I do not have a Credit card, which I did and provided him with the number and he gave me what he called the booking number #256931039US9. We went to the place where he said the Driver will deliver the car because according to him being a Saturday they were short staffed and deliver to Clients at a Convenient place. After the time he said the car would be there about 8:00pm Eastern and there was no sign of a car, @ 8:05 pm I called and this time one Jose picked and said that Jeff was busy and that he will call me back. At 8:10pm E one Michael called from 888 802 0961 and said that Jeff had been fired because he did something wrong and that I should go to a store and call him from there so he will tell me the card to buy so that he can give me another confirmed booking as he will cancel the one Jeff did. This was when I became suspicious and asked how they will hold my $600.00 without any car. He said that was my only option if I needed a car and that American Express takes one Month to do refund. I told him I will want to see the car before I can buy another card, and this is where he hung up the phone and it will not go through again.
I called American Express and after narrating my story the lady at the other end of the line said that the card had been charged and in pending status but that she will put it on hold, that after 8 days if the Merchant AJJ Direct Solutions LLC did not withdraw the money it will return back to my card.

Because I did not understand what HOLD means in ralation to cashing out the funds, I asked Amex to put a total stop to the transcation but they said they do not have that capacity.

What I want: For AJJ Direct Solutions to return my money $300.00
For AJJ Direct Solutions to pay me damages because I could not rent another car to go to work.
To make sure that they do not do it to any other person
To make American Express to be able to stop payment on Gift and Prepaid card when a fraud occurs.

Counting on your good judgment, accept the assurance of my high regards,
G. Obih

They called to say they had detected some malware installed in my PC. I believed they were legitimate because they knew a password I had shared with a legitimate tech support company.
