Needed service on mal-functioning Samsug Clothes Dryer.... Located Advertisement Online. Called phone numer advertised on the computer. Thought the problem was that the ventilation systemm was blocked so needed to be cleaned. Techniciam under the name of SHARON ZVi arrived and IMMEDIATELY upon entering the room exclaimed that the problem was a defective, flexible vent tube: that the solution was to IMMEDIATELY replace it with a product that he had ( a medal tube at the cost of ($595.00) . Failure to do so would put me at risk of a dryer fire A WARNING he made repeatedly !! THREATOF FIRE .I declined this and his subsequent reducitions in cost ( went from 595 to 395 which I continued to decline. He proceded to wrench out the tube from ithe connection point on the dryer. The connection end It was severely torn by him !! Eventually he called in an associate who came in and with a blow type device blew into the flexible tube. He then replaced the tube ..requested his advertised fee of $80.00 which I gave him and he departed. He failed to re-connecct the tube in the same manner as he found it ....Subsequent help from an appliance repair co. determined that in this Samsug machine the tensors didn't work well and it was better to use the specific time periods but otherwise the machine was fine. Later investigation of the company on the computer ( which I should have done first) revealed that this behavior was not new and none rated the company higher than a one star. This company should not be allowed to continue to advertise online. It's entire ad is misleading and false and I shall try to report it to the legal authorities.
