I was the victim of employment fraud. I filled out an online application with indeed.com for a position at Chipotle. Soon after, I received an email stating I pretty much had the job. The only thing I had to is do a background check for myself. This included getting my credit score. In the email I was told to go to this website: www.CreditReports.com. The website, which appears to be legitimate, turned into another website: https://secure.yourscoreandmore.com/signup.html?adid=YSAM424001. Once I got to the website, I input personal information such as my social security number. Then I got to a part where they asked me for my credit card information. I became suspicious and went to my mom to ask for her thoughts on the matter. She informed me that it was a scam to get my information so they could commit identity theft in my name. This is how I ended here filling out this complaint. I don't want anyone else to a victim of this type of criminal activity.
