I received a message from a woman, *** ***, who is an acquaintance to me on facebook and friend of other family members. She is quite religious and well educated, etc.. So, a trusted person. She said that she saw my name on a list of people who were to receive sums of money and that she had already benefitted from this. Also that I should contact the above E-mail address and check on it. So I did contact the person who titled himself an "agent". He supposedly checked whether I was on the list to receive a lot of money. The United Nations was involved and there were huge amounts of money in Govt. grants to give away to somehow alleviate poverty! (I am a born skeptic). A list of what looked like phony Govt. documents with seal, etc., was sent to me. I decided to contact *** on. messenger to tell her that she had better check her bank account and anything else that might be lost in identity theft. I got a message back that was supposed to be ***. She said all was legitimate and that she had received a lot of money and was going to by a house. She also said that she had paid the three thousand dollars tax on the money.

This was April 1st and I wished her a happy Easter and she came back wishing me the same and said, " It is a beautiful day here in Missouri". The real *** *** lives in *** so that was enough for me. Also the grammar wasn't right for a well educated person. Hearing from Christopher again insisting that they were sending me a. pkg by Fed X, I replied that I. knew this was a scam and would not accept a pkg. Thought that ended it and then I got an E-mail notice that Fed X would deliver a pkg. To top it all off the pkg. was delivered and I didn't know it but saw on my computer that it was delivered. I hadn't looked out the door where it had been left on my porch. After all this frustrating nonsense, I went to the door and not only was the pkg gone but so was the small table beside the door! Someone stole both! I had wanted it as maybe a help to investigators or whoever I could find to deal with it. All of ***'s messages she usually put on Face Book have disappeared and also I can't contact the real *** on messenger. I never got to see the package. I believe the "agent" would have wanted money and then I would be getting money. Supposedly! I want to be able to tell the real *** *** that she was being used for this scam. I will contact my relatives who may have her e-mail address. Nothing I try to send to her or her husband *** will go through. So they have blocked any contact on FB and Messenger. I need to contact Face Book also but see no way. I know others who can probably help me on this. The scam didn't go far enough and I would know a lot more if I had gotten the package before a thief got it.
