Agent of the BC lottery corp Reports & Reviews (1)

Caller asks to speak to [insert your name], conveys that, as a past purchaser/winner of BC lottery tickets including a free play, your name was entered into a BC lottery draw. You have won 2nd prize in that draw ($3 million and a car!). If you would like to receive this, they will transfer you to another person. They then provide you with information on a ticket number and certification # (don't share it or lose this) they want to "confirm" details about your status (age, marital status, employment etc). You will need to fill out a form that has this info and other confirmation info on your identity. They ask you about how you would like to receive the money: personal delivery, public or private, bank transfer, etc. They talk about taxes paid on lottery prizes.. Once they have convinced you are you a prize winner, they say that to facilitate this they need $7000, and that you can pay through the post office with a money order. Your can sort of tell by the style and approach that the callers are winging it based in your answers. They are seeking single, older women who assumably 'don't have a man in their life to steer them away from fraud'. They listen to your answers and present them back, or try to gleam more info. I played along, because I wanted to reach the point where they asked for money. The names they used were David Fisher and Steve Wilson
