I received a Facebook message from a friend from church about a government grant. She said she had her money right away and they delivered it to her door. She gave me a phone number to call. The agents name was Agent Edwards and urged me to call him right then and keep her informed on how it was going. I called the number and he wanted my full name so he could look me up in the data base. He found me and I was eligible. He asked for my full name, address, phone number, email, age, male or female. Did I want cash or check? Never telling me how much money I could get. Then asks for a copy of my drivers license which unfortunately I gave him. Claimed he needed all this information to prove my idenity. My freind kept texing me about what part I was on. He said I had been approved for the grant. He sent me a bunch of identification numbers. He then told me to choose the amount and I would pay the certificate fee. The cheapest was I pay $800.00 and get $50,000. Told him sorry I did not have that kind of money. old me if I could come up with $400.00 immediately I could pay the rest with my $ 50,000. I Told him I didn't have mon ey. He asked me how much I could afford, like $100.00. He said there are three ways to pay. Buy gift card at nearest store and send it To Board Center, thru bitcoin or Cashapp. I told him I am declining and take my name off the list. We will send you a code now and send it back to him. I kept repeating I'm canceling. He said I had to send the code so he could take me out of the data base. The code did not work so he wanted my Facebook mail or number. He sent this CAUSE WITHOUT YOU DOING THAT YOUR INFORMATION WILL STILL BE WITH US HERE. I don't want it and he just keeps sending me message did you get the code. I finally turned off my phone. This morning I turned my phone on and he sent a text. Are you there ma'am and them GOOD MORNING MA"AM. I can't get rid of him. He must need something from me to finish the scam.
