I received a suspicious collection notice for an unknown merchant "Stop-N-Park" with an exorbitant fee of $147.60. I never park in pay lots and certainly not overnight or warranting a large sum. The notice is extraordinarily vague and my name is incorrect. I inquired with the collector for more info: address of lot, date of violation, license plate. They have not responded. The website is sketchy with only a method of payment, no invoice information. I'm not convinced my credit is truly at risk here.
