Received an email from Robin in "HR" saying that I had applied to a project management position through Indeed. I have been putting in many applications through Indeed recently and reviewed the email. She asked if I was still interested in the position, which I said I was. I was offered a phone interview at which point in time I began to research the company. I could only find the website that she provided me a link to. There's no other information on their business. The building they list as their headquarters address had no office/suite number. The phone number they have on their website rings three times and then goes to busy. I did more digging and found someone online had posted about this same company offering them a job and within a month of him "working" for this company they asked for his personal credit card for expenses. I looked on the MD state website because all LLC's should be registered through the state and their company was not found during my search. I sent an email confronting Robin Vella in HR asking for clarification on why I was having such a difficult time finding information on their company and never heard back a response. They were supposed to call me for an interview but never did because I think they realized I was onto their scam. Would be awful for someone to get "hired" by this company, quit an old job, and then end up completely unemployed.

Much like you I started digging and found the website unavailable at times and googled the address which led nowhere. Thank you again for sharing.

Frederik Olsson from stated company AFK Tech offered me a job with their new location in dallas, texas doing project management. All i had to do was finish 1 month of training case studies showing i understood project management and they would pay me at the end for training and then the full time job was mine. after 1 week of training they asked me to use my personal credit card to make company equipment purchases stating that they would send me money first to cover the purchases so i wouldnt have to use my personal funds. I told them i didnt feel comfortable doing so and they said they would find another way. Now their "website" is no longer working and the two office addresses they gave me were fake as i contacted the leasing departments of both and neither knew of the company that i mentioned. If you are offered a project management position with AFK Tech and asked to use your personal card DO NOT DO IT. They are a fake trying to get money out of people in the worst way possible.

they claimed to have a location in philadelphia, PA and were opening a new location in dallas, tx neither were real locations.
