Job Description:
The techs will be working in all different types of settings (could be manufacturing plants, laboratories, office buildings, schools, etc..) with other techs and a project manager to help inventory and track any asset in that facility. They will be given a hand held scanner to scan bar codes on these assets. assets could be anything from equipment, laptops, chairs, mechanical devices, etc..)
Each tech will be trained on the entire process and how to use a handheld scanner that this company owns. Each handheld scanner will be able to scan barcodes on each device, store it in the internal memory, and be uploaded into an online folder system at the end of each day.
targeting individuals than can travel extensively, and are willing to submit to a drug/background check. they lost 2 Project Managers recently so candidates who have experience supervising/managing either people or projects is a huge bonus; contract to permanent opportunities
Work Environment:
manufacturing and/or office settings typically. Based out of Southfield, and the interviews would be conducted here, but they will be on the road all the time after that. travel could be anywhere in the US or Canada.
Qualifications:
Must be willing to travel 100% of time (hotel and airfare and car covered by Compay)
Must have good communication skills
Associates or higher degree a huge plus
past experience in inventory is plus
past experience as a supervisor/manager is a huge plus
Performance Expectations:
will be given daily goals of amount of assets scanned. differs depending on facility
