They called me from a local area phone number. Had the last 4 of my social. Name. Old address. Stated I owed a current card that I have over $1000 dollars in debt and they bought from my Credit Card account. They said I went into default 10 years ago. Alot of the information was incorrect even the last 4 of the card number and they wanted me to provide them the correct information and provide them with payment and said there was a judgement against me. I was not in default with any of my cards, 90% of their information was incorrect, and I called my Credit Card and they didn't know who these people were. These people were definitely US based and used a US based company name. Sounded professional; which was odd. Normally you get an automated message or someone you can't understand. Watch out for these people! They even said they had my full social, but that was not provided to me. I did not give them any information that they did not already have. Informed me that their main hub was located in Atlanta, GA.
