I was looking for employment when this company contacted me by email indicating they ggot my name freedom a recruiting list and were interested in hiring me as vs procurement officer. The contact was a Carol. Fox.
Since I had rcentlly been laid off after 20 years I jumped at the chancce for new full time employment.
The email header indicated $98,000 plus benefits.
Job title was procurement officer for which I would use their funds to purchase electronic items and ship them to their clients.
I was a bit skeptical of this but was assured by Carol Fox that all was good since I didnt have to provide any personal information. So I decided to proceed.
The company provided me with routing number and account number to deposit the amount of $5000 into my credit card to use for the purchases.
The payment later bounced for "insufficient funds"
My attempts to contact Carol have gone unanswered and while my credit card company agrees I was scammed , they refuse to assist me with getting my money back and restoring my credit claiming since I purchased the products , I am responsible for the charges. I no longer have the merchandise as I shipped them as instructed by Carol.
Therefore I need to take legal measures to correct this.

Procurement company Advanced Global Visions. Very good scammers. Had everything such as paperwork and EIN number for company confirmation. They basically told me for the first two weeks of employment I will be in training. They provided me with a bank routing number and checking number to transfer funds on my credit card to have a credit balance to buy items. Everything seemed good until I requested to meet with my supervisor at One Penn Plaza in Manhattan. The supervisor Carol Fox never showed up and the building had no records of advance global vision in the building nor no record of Carol Fox employee in the building. I was waiting for the supervisor Carol Fox in the lobby for about 45 minutes. After that she did not respond to phone calls texts or emails. I feel very uncomfortable about the situation. I will no longer proceed
