An man with an India accent said he was a representative calling from Advanced cash America loans. He said I had been approved for a $1,000-$7,000 cash loan. Since I had recently applied online for a cash advance I listened to what he had to say. He verifies my information name, address, bank information. Then placed me on hold for the approved loans processing center. Another man with an accent that says his name is Steven Casey verifies all the same information as the man before. Then he ask if I had any money in my possession. I stated no. He then says the only way he could finalize the loan is if I can prove if I was financially stable to pay the monthly payments of $200.00. So to go to the nearest Money gram and send $265.00 to receiver CND1052. Once that was complete they will verify the wire and deposit a $1,000 into my Wells Fargo Bank account within 30 minutes. I called back and the first guy that I spoke with answers and I asked why would I need to wire the money instead of depositing the money into my bank account to be verified? He said that the process but, once the wire was verified I could contact Money gram and cancel. I imlediately Googled the company name and saw Scam and read almost the exact same phone call i had just received. So I then called money gram and they said it was a scam! I called back the numbers they had contacted me from earlier they said in clear English that they only spoke spanish! I called back and I got no answer! I immediately went to the nearest Wells Fargo and informed them of what just happened to protect my account.
