I was offered a personal loan but they wanted to deposit $900 into my account before they would deposit the loan - they said it was for the insurance company that insures my loan and I would have to send it to them. It didn't sound right so I contacted USAA (my bank) and they think it is fraud. I contacted all the credit reporting agencies to keep an alert on my SSN. I foolishly filled out their form before talking to them and it included my bank info and SSN.
