Huge Scam

I wanted to get a corgi puppy for my household, so I went on google and got the website https://corgipethomes.com/ . After contacting them I received more pictures of the puppy I was interested in, "Maggie", which apparently has been for sale since May of 2022. These people have used two names and two different addresses that we could find. I have attached most of our conversation and the pictures I received. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

I came to this site to say I was almost scammed but had a weird gut feeling so I checked online, turns out these people just keep changing their website name and keep scamming people, thank goodness I caught this before i paid anything BEWARE!

This “company” claims to have Corgi puppies for sale. They have what looks to be a legitimate website with all the trappings. Photos, information on each puppy, etc. The costs were a flat $600. They say the price is such because they claim to have a new litter due and want to sell the current litter quickly to reduce workload. They send you a “contract” and Zelle is the payment method requested. Once they claim that all paperwork is in order and flight arrangements they will reach out. Another person contacted me, whom I think is in cahoots with the “seller”, to say that the crate the puppy is to be shipped in is not the correct one and that for a “refundable” $1830 they will put the puppy in a crate they provide and say the money is refunded back upon delivery. Once I began questioning the whole process the “shipper” became very hostile and after a few exchanges I could not get in contact with either “seller” or “shipper”.

This is a scam. They were responsive, but when I asked for a copy of the contract to show to my attorney before providing payment info, they ghosted me. I sent copies of previous complaints to them and asked for an explanation. Again, I was ghosted. Beware.

Please pay extra attention. Everything seems legit, promptly response, email back and forth, they offer akc ristration, pedigree, health guarantee and all that. They even send a bill of dale contract…
However, the moment you request documentation, something to prove that all said and offered is real… no more response.
Having a puppy for you and your family is a big decision, and these people take advantage of all that and the emotions involved in looking for your new family member. Just be careful out there and all the best in your quest.

I emailed them at [email protected] asking for info on the puppy. I got a lot of sketchy promises and too-good-to-be-true information. I emailed them asking for Pedigree info and a phone number/home address and they stopped responding immediately after. The website is newly created.
