They called my husband about a complaint filed against me and said I needed to call them at the 866 number. They left a message for me saying my name “this is regarding a dispute filed in Virginia Beach my name is John Rivera National Delivery Service. I’m gonna give you the reference number 1914568 if you not be able to receive a signed the document going to the current residence and place appointment please contact the office immediately at 866-341-5704. I urge you to reach out as soon as possible today if not a legal decision will be made. You have been notified.” They also called my daughter. When I called them they said that a civil complaint had been filed against me for breach of contract from HSBC and gave me the last 4 digits of an account number. They said they’d try to help me resolve the dispute without litigation. The original amount was $2489.62 but with legal fees and court costs I was being sued for $5723.09. To receive all available information on this account they’d email me the info but I had to digitally sign a validation of debt. No information was given. I called back the guy changed his name to (Eric Rivera) and was told the lawyer had that information and would use it in court. I googled the phone number, saw others reporting scams. Called the court clerks office to see if anything had been filed against me and checked my credit reports.
