Purchasing foot locker gift cards. Taking security strips from the back and taking pics of the front and back of gift card. Must purchase them for $1300 and I get to “keep” $495 as my payment. His name is Adam Brentwood. He uses Glass City Federal bank in Ohio for transactions.

I received a check in the mail for $1795 and was told that 495 of it were for my services and the $1300 was to be spent buying gift cards for footlocker then I was to get those gift cards reveal the Numbers on the back and take pictures and send them to the email address. I was also told that I completed the task within 6 to 12 hours. I would receive a $300 bonus became extremely suspicious so I decided to go online and check into whether this business , actually does this type of secret shopping and the first thing that came up was scam

They send you a check for $1795. They tell you you had to go and cash it then you text the number let them know that you were cashing it to 828-316-1633 and you give them your name your account or see your bank name of your check and your phone number and estimation time of your complete evaluation, so then you deduct $450 for your first assignment footlocker gift card assignment then you go to different stores Walgreens Walmart Best Buy whatever and buy $1300 and footlocker gift cards

Most time whenever I sign up to do stuff like that then I knew I was going to get paid for I usually put the name that I have cuz I haven't got it changed yet to the name that I go by but on this check and let her I got it had my aliases Natosha on it instead of the name I have on my ID which is Tony so I knew where I felt there is something funny about this whole thing so I done a little research myself and seen that I'm not the first person that felt this way

I receive a cashier's check written against Centennial Bank, Conway, AR, for $1795, and a letter from Whole Foods Market offering me a Secret Survey assignment, telling me to deduct a payment of $450 for my first assignment Foot Locker Gift card assignment to buy Foot Locker gift cards from Walgreens, Walmart, Target, CVS, Kroger, Best Buy, Safeway, Lowe's, Giant Eagle, Rite Aid, Dollar General, Albertsons, Speedway, Publix, Home Depot, Staples, Whole Foods market, Winn Dixie, Price Chopper, Food Lion, Meijer, Ralph's, Vons, Family Dollar, Shop Rite, Weis, Family Fare, Office Depot, Smith's, or Wegmans. I need to gently scratch the silver scratch-off area on the card and capture the image of the numbers on the back and email to [email protected]. I don’t even remember signing up but, Something felt off to me that this money sent to me was to easy. So I ended up doing on own research online because I had to always work hard for money. Then I found this site with a few that was in the same boat as I am.

Filled out application on Indeed for potential secret shopper position. Week later I receive a cashier's check written against Johnson Bank, Racine, WI, for $1795, and a letter from Whole Foods Market offering me a Secret Survey assignment, telling me to deduct a payment of $450 for my first assignment Foot Locker Gift card assignment to buy Foot Locker gift cards from Walgreens, Walmart, Target, CVS, Kroger, Best Buy, Safeway, Lowe's, Giant Eagle, Rite Aid, Dollar General, Albertsons, Speedway, Publix, Home Depot, Staples, Whole Foods market, Winn Dixie, Price Chopper, Food Lion, Meijer, Ralph's, Vons, Family Dollar, Shop Rite, Weis, Family Fare, Office Depot, Smith's, or Wegmans. I am to gently peel the silver scratch-off area on the card and capture the image and email to [email protected]. Never even a phone call. Something isn't right. The check doesn't even read correctly. Nothing lost on my end but someone took time to print this.

I received a letter and check for $1795 on 7/22/24. I received another letter and check today 7/23/24. It told me to but gift cards at our local Foot Locker store. I was to deduct $450 for my pay and send pictures of the gift cards to the number along with a report of the store.

I received a text on 3/15 stating I had been selected as an undercover shopper and that I would be receiving an envelope in the next few days with my assignment. The assignment arrived in a USPS Priority Mail envelope. Inside was a letter with instructions for the assignment and a check for $1795.00. The letter asks me to deposit the cashiers check from Partners Federal Credit Union in Burbank CA to my account. I was then to purchase Nordstrom Gift Cards in various amounts from various locations. Once purchased I was to scratch off the silver seal, take pictures of the front and backs of the cards and then email this information to [email protected]. I was to keep $400 for myself + $45 for gas and the rest was to be used for the gift cards. When done, I was to text that the assignment was completed to 916-659-9376.
