Adams Moving Reports & Reviews (1)

Adams Moving Company runs a bait and switch moving scam. Their address doesn’t exist and several business aliases are used from this same address including Harbor Legal Group and Moving Pros among others. The company is actually being run out of a small home in Houston which is where our cashiers check was routed to. We paid almost $4,000 to have our things shipped from Texas to Colorado as was the amount we signed to pay in our agreement. When the movers got to Colorado, they held our possessions hostage until we paid another fee of $4,700 for going ‘over our allotted space’. After being told by the FMCSA that the best thing we could do was pay the money and file a lawsuit, we finally paid what we never agreed to. On top of that, there was thousands of dollars worth of damage done to our belongings and a lot of stuff was missing. The boxes had been under packed a lot of boxes packed barely had anything in it. The movers wrecked into my home causing hundreds in damage. They left trash everywhere. Their website looks very convincing but do your due diligence so you don’t end up where my husband and I did. We have taken pictures of everything but are unsure if we will ever even be reimbursed for all that we’ve been through. We’ve filed with BBB, FMCSA, TLDR and the attorney general in both states.
