Adam Ward called from 833-526-2006, saying I needed to pay a debt from 2012. Claimed I would be taken to court if I didn't pay. I told the guy I would call back in an hour. I called the company the debt was from. They said no one would be contacting me about a debt that old and assured me it was a scam. The man claiming to be Adam Ward called me back and wanted my banking information. I told him I talked to the company and they told me not to give him any money or information. He said he would see me in court. The company told me they have had a lot of problems with scam debt collectors.

Someone named Adam Ward called from the 844 350 3929 number and said they were contacted by a Local liaison regarding a claim out in my name and matching my SSN # and that it will impact my employment and bank account if I do not call them back . And that they will be faxing verification of employment to my job. I called the number back and it states the person who is at this extension is on the phone. I did NOT leave any message or information.
