I got an email saying that I was in collections for $2400, but they didnt say for what. They also said that I need to respond today and pay in full $538 or do installment payments for $800. If I chose not to respond they will report me to the police and have the courts doc my pay. I don't work. And then they continued to say that I am to pay this or they will destroy my name and my social. This sounds very weird to me. I have never recieved a collections notice through email, and all my medical bills are paid in full. That is the only bill that came close to $2400 that I can think of.
