Dean Cevers from "Active Media Group" has called our office harassing our employees in regards to an invoice for SEO work from last year. Our company has never paid for advertising or search engine optimization, due to the fact that we are TOO busy! We have at least a 6 month wait to get on our schedule, we would never advertise. He claims to have had a recording that one of our employees gave authorization for the service. This is FALSE! The employee he claims gave authorization has worked for us for 15 years and would NEVER authorize this type of service without our approval first.

We received a call from a supposed bill collector. We knew this was not legit but asked that they email us a copy of the invoice. They did this and it went to our junk mail rather than our inbox. About 20 minuets later the person called back to be sure that we had received the invoice by email. Also, the phone number that appeared on our caller ID was not a regular number, but it was something like "***." It called us back to back, 4-5 times before we heard anyone on the line. I mentioned that we were sending the invoice to our home office and that if the charge was legit then we would remit payment. The man said, "fair enough, I will wait to hear back from you or expect a payment." Again, we know that his is not a company that we received any services from and therefore we will not be sending them any money.
