I was contacted about a job application I sent on ZipRecruiter, only when she mentioned the name “action applied” I didn’t recognize it as something I applied to. However I am searching so I agreed to an interview. I tried looking up the company prior to and couldn’t find much. I went in this morning for an interview and waited almost 30 mins before being met with. And who I interviewed with was rather an uncomfortable experience. His name is Vince and he claimed to be a manager there, one of three that I would be interviewing with, as they put you through 3 rounds of interviews. I tried asking what exactly the company did and what my position would be and he seemed frustrated by the question and wouldn’t give straight answers. He kept saying things like “in order to be successful you gotta struggle first” and “to make money you gotta get uncomfortable” and none of that seems even slightly accurate nor appropriate. He kept trying to drive the sales positions of a commission based pay, and I am looking for more stability than that and he disagreed and said that being support or customer service rep is dead end and I can’t grow or make money in that…made zero sense. So then after finally leaving this insanely pointless and weird interview I notice on the door, the name is “Tele King Inc.” so I go and look them up, and there’s endless reviews of people who had similar if not worse interviews and work experiences here. The name has seemingly been changed multiple times and is never the same when they do come In, and no one can ever get answers about what this company even does…I’m not sure if this is some sort of pyramid scheme, mlm or worse some sort of front for a ring etc…as there were two other young girls there interviewing such as myself. I’ve never gotten such a heavy feeling of nervousness and uncomfortable in an interview. They need to be checked out immediately and shut down
