Called Action Appliance. They cancelled appointment 3x before finally keeping 1 appointment. The tech diagnosed ice maker can not be repaired and need new one. Was told price would be $569.48. Seemed pretty high but I approved the fee. Part was ordered and installed within a week. After the install, Action Appliance had to come back out as the ice maker was not working properly. I recently had a different company come out to check the compressor on the refrigerator/freezer and was told that I was overcharged by a few hundred dollars. As a widow, senior citizen and consumer this is unfair practice and fraud.
