I got a phone call that caller ID indicated as Wells Fargo, with a local number (507) 285-2901 so I answered the call. A pre-recorded message stated that my internet was going to be disconnected unless I press 1 for AT&T. I then hung up.

I was contacted by “Wells Fargo” via text I don’t know where or by whom it came from I gave my moms maiden address, I.d. Number ,name, S.S. # but did not click on submit. This does not mean they couldn’t see what I printed I want this on file so I’m contacting everyone if been told to. Fraud phish, Wells Fargo, also I will be contacting all other credit cards. Is there anything you can recommend so if someone decides to take a cc. In my name it’s all documented. I may fall through the cracks hopefully because I do not have a lot of $ just exceptional credit. Please help if you can. This happened fri. 19th Thank you.

received a text message stating that they (WF) needed me to click this link in my text to verify my identity. I immediately copied the text and went out to wellsfargo.com and found their phishing email address and sent them an email regarding the incident. Then I immediately deleted the text message from my phone just in case.
