I have used Norton 360 previously, and the email included a second email address: [email protected], so I thought it might be legit. I called the number included. I told the individual I wasn't sure they were legit, but wanted to check them out. They asked me to read the product info for my Norton product, which I couldn't do because it was installed on my personal PC, which I don't have any longer. They asked to view my work laptop using Teams Viewer to provide me with the cancellation policy. Foolishly, I allowed them to use the Teams Viewer and filled in the cancellation policy until they asked for my bank information. I told them they were scamming me and was going to hang up but couldn't get them out of my computer. Needless to say, my computer was hacked so they have all my personal information :-( and I am sitting here thinking how stupid I was because I knew it was a scam from the beginning. I've changed my passwords, but it doesn't really matter because they have all my info already.
