The person answering the phone sounded Indian and I heard a lot of noise in the background. They wanted $300 from me to unlock my Microsoft computer. The representative said his name was Roger. I asked for his Microsoft I.D. number and he said he won’t provide me with that information. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he denied me. I never gave them any of my information but this scam has tried to get some of my friends.

This was a message that was left on my answering machine it said: I should call Cathy Jackson from Microsoft refund department. Said I had paid for tech support and that company has been ordered to close, Microsoft was going to refund my money so I should call this number 844-386-8578. I did not call.
