Got a call from a gentleman who would not give me his name and said I owe $800+ dollars. He said If I dont pay the amount he has officers out side waiting to arrest me. I told him I can not pay that money without speaking with my husband and he proceeded to ask how much can I pay without speaking with my husband and we will call it "even" I told him I will have to talk to my husband and I will get back to him and he then gave me his personal cell phone number to reach him.

First of all, you are not obligated to answer the phone just because you hear it ringing. Unless you are at work and being paid to answer a company phone, you have no obligation to answer! Use your common sense if you have it! If you don’t immediately recognize a number as safe, let it go to Voicemail and do a Reverse Lookup! The scammers prey on people who feel obligated to answer the phone just because they hear it ringing! PLEASE REMEMBER THAT!
