Consumer in North Dakota called ScamPulse.com public line, reporting a scam lottery / sweepstakes call they'd received on 2/9/21. Caller identified self as being with the Better Business Bureau, informing consumer that they'd won a large sum of money. Consumer was told to go to Walmart and buy a $300 Vanilla Visa gift card to cover fees, and prize would be delivered to consumer's home. Consumer had received similar lottery scam phone calls recently (claiming to be with Publisher's Clearing House, etc.) and recognized the originating phone number (876-528-8455) as being in Jamaica, so did not fall for scam.
