Received a call from an Ohio phone number (513) 626-6553 stating that I had suspicious purchases on my Amazon account. Suggested I had purchased Apple Laptop and AirBuds. I made no such purchase. Person went on to ask how many accounts I had, I replied only one. Person then informed me that I now had 3 different accounts and that the purchased was being shipped to Albany New York tomorrow. I told them to cancel/close all my accounts. Person then said they would transfer me the Huntington Bank Fraud Dept. Fraud Dept. picked up and asked me to verify the last 4digits of my SS#, zip code and birthdate. Fake Fraud Dept. person then went on to ask me how many and what type of do I have with Huntington. I then verified the number of accounts and estimated balances. I then suggested if he was actually a representative of Huntington Bank that he should know that information. His response was the charges will not go thru and that everything would be handled and taken care of (then immediately hung up). All of the people I spoke to had an "INDIA" accent.

Calls with “no name” came up on my landline

Said they were Amazon and someone ordered an iPhone 11 Pro with my acct-$999.00

Wanted me to open up an app in my iPhone for “zoho customer assist”

I was called and told I had been seriously hacked. He explained who he was even sharing wikipedia information. He mad me download an app too access my computer. This give him access to my bank also because he told me the only way to catch the hackers was to create fake transactions. He started online with a couple with my credit card. Unfortunately, more hacks were found so we needed to off line. He deposited $6500 in my bank acct and told me to go draw it out. I spent 7 hrs driving all over the place buying $500 gift cards. It wasn't easy because the stores all had alerts. I became more and more suspicious but not until the money was gone and we wanted me use my credit cards. I stayed on the phone ALL day and didn't want me to call my husband or son. I felt like I was held hostage! But I still believed I was "catching the hackers" and I feel so stupid! I got home and bank accts are 0.

I keep receiving text messages about my amazon account having suspicious activity. Then it gives a link to click on to verify my information.

Then I get another text tellingme my account has been suspended until I verify my info. when I check my amazon accout its fine.

Robo calls impersonating Amazon. Individuals continue to call about orders that do not exist. One robo asked if it could authorize the order of about 19.99 . We hung up and did not answer. Fake Amazon calls continue. Scammer is using fake/spoofed phone numbers. Scammer also uses Out of Area, with no phone number listed on Caller ID.

I chuckle to myself when these scammers call. It is my turn to get the last laugh. I play along with their question (I take a long time so they are wasting their time), give a false name, location, etc. When they ask how much I owe in debt so they can transfer it to Amazon for a lower interest rate, I say I owe $175,010.09 or some awkward high amount. At that moment I usually hear the voice say "Buddy, go f...k yourself" or a number of other swears...I end by saying my FCC administrator wife has been tracking this phonecall and they can expect a call from federal law enforcement..."call me in 20 years after you get out of jail" I say, then I hang up on the criminal. Have some fun with these scammers...keep them on the line for as long as possible...threaten them and have a good feeling that you are wasting their time and saving someone from being a victim."

Caller said he was from Amazon said someone bought $2500 worth of stuff on my acct wanted me to give them my credit card # I use on Amazon

This is the second time they have tried; the first time was a phone call and I hung up. This time I got an email about an order confirmation for a (ASUS Flip 2-in-1 15.6" FHD Touchscreen Chromebook Laptop), that I didn't order. So, I called the number in the email and gave me his name Alex Martin, agent ID-AMZ11025 and case number (1910887662). Then I was asked if my credit card number ended in this number, I told him I didn't my number and that I was at work. Then he said you don't have your credit card number, I said no because I always leave them at home when I go to work. He kept insisting they had charge thousands of dollars of merchandise and they had opened up 3 Amazon account in my name. He kept asking if I had an Amazon credit card and I said no, but he kept insisting I had one and repeated the last 4 digit of the card. I never gave him any personal information and call Amazon customer service. I spoke with someone and the first question I asked was if their agent ID number began with AMZ and she said no. She verified my last purchases I had made and stayed on the line with until I changed my password on my account. I hope they are caught; I have included the email I was sent.

I was emailed this when I thought it was Amazon and my account was locked when it wasn't. They also got my social security number because I was really tired and didn't know it was a scam before too late. They used $122 on an air BNB purchase as well.

Saying someone opened an account in our name and we had to go on line to cancel it. I told them I did not authorize it and they should cancel it. They said I had to. I told them I was not filling out anything and that it was probably a scam and they hung up on me. My daughter said Amazon would contact by e-mail not phone

They said there may be a purchase on my card for $349.99, and to call them back if I did not make that purchase. I only listened/monitored the message, so I don't know if they were trying to get money. I will put "yes" in the box below where it asks this because I think that's what the intent was.

They called saying that they were from Amazon and that a new iphone was charged to my account, then they just started saying nonsense stuff

I received several phone calls claiming that my VISA card will be charged $349.99 for an Amazon purchase. They ask that I call 808 482-6844. I have contacted Amazon and they know nothing about this issue.

I got this message on my phone that says "This is to tell you that you will be charged on your Amazon account for a Apple I phone 11. If you did not do this stay on the line, if you did order it also stay on the line."

This happened on Oct 8 2020 and 6:35 pm

This is not the first one of these. About a month ago we were gone and when we got home we had 9 messages all about the Apple I phone 11. I turned in a scam report to the government. I still have all the info on my phone yet.

I called Amazon up and they had no record of me ordering it or any charge to my account.

Freaked out when I got a text from 1+(858) 722-1922 stating: "Shipped: Your Amazon package with $101 loyalty reward will be delivered Sat, June 20th Claudia h6smz.info/n7hF3t1yUB" because my name's not Claudia and I haven't ordered anything recently. At first I thought someone hacked into my account, but when I checked it out it looked ok, so I did a Google search about potential scams.

Below I responded "no" about being asked for money, but only because I did not follow the link in the text. I'm not sure what exactly they were after, money or info, but I'm sure they wanted something.

They called stating they were with Amazon and there is Fraud on my account. They stated someone tried to make a purchase of an Iphone 11 for $999.00. They then transferred me to a "supervisor". This person who said his name was Jack told me I needed to download the TeamViewer App on my phone, which I already had. He told me I need to share my screen and I questioned him regarding this. I stated if there is fraud on my Amazon account you don't need to see my phone because you can put the money back in my account due to it being fraud. Then he told me I needed to download Zelle, I said it doesn't work, then he said you need to download CASH app. I said no I am not downloading anything. He became very angry with me and said do you want your money or not. I said I want my money but I am looking right now at my Amazon account and there is no outstanding order for an Iphone 11, he said that 's because the first guy you spoke with got rid of the order because its fraud. I said well that's odd because I had been on my account a few minutes prior to the call and I didn't see anything. I was checking all this from a laptop. I went on my back account from the laptop to see if there is a pending $999.00 and there was not. I told the guy this is a scam and he said no maam it is not. He then asked me to download apple pay and I said it is downloaded on my phone but I don't use it and he said why not I said because of people like you. He started yelling at me asking me if I want my money or not. I said of course I want my money he said then you need to listen to me and do what I tell you. All along I knew this was a scam but i wanted to see how far it would go. Needless to say since I didn't follow his directions and questioned everything he asked me to do he hung up on me. I was on the phone for 40 minutes. I did then call my bank and Amazon and yes it was a scam and they did not get any of my money.

received a voice message from a recording identifying themselves as Amazon and that my Amazon prime account has been compromised for a total of $380 they wanted me to call them to verify that I did not make this charge on my Amazon prime account after receiving the recording I called Amazon directly and Amazon said they would not contact you via phone for something such as that also of note I do not have an Amazon prime account so I called the 866 number back and they answered with a African accent and they wanted to send me a text code to enter from my phone so they could verify that indeed I was who I was they sent me a code to my phone I did not enter the code in my phone but I continue to pull their leg for a while once I call them out on their scam they called me foul names and hung up
