Someone is pretending to be Allina Health employees such as David Ives and Lynn Pohlman. If your email doesn’t come from an Allina Health (@allina.com) email address, it’s a scam.

I believe this was through linked in profile a job I must of applied to. Poser known as Travis Anderson texted me about a job paying $39/hr admin assist/data entry work from home. Then contact a Jeff Shoemate VP Marketing & Communications by invitation on skype. Who uses Skype these days? Its zoom right? Then got online with this Jeff poser and proceed to tell me how easy it was to get going with things that I would be sent a check to buy office supplies and equipment to start work. Sends a job offer letter and there is no I-9 or W2 when asked about this he says after training. Don't fall for this folks these scammers need to get a life. He has been reported.

Mrs. Lynn Pohlman said I had an interview with HR director David Ives. I was suspicious at the link she gave me for a Zoom interview, especially when "Mr. Ives" chose to not share any video, and conduct a text interview. I began looking up his credentials as soon as I began the Zoom. There is no David Ives working for this company, despite the Linked In profile this con set up.

I received a text message from Lisa Johnson saying that she was from the recruitment team andhad received a published job application. She told me I was selected for an interview. I was instructed to add Jeff Shoemate on Skype in which he would conduct the interview. Everything was done online and not a face was seen through this whole process. We had the interview. He listed the job description and made it seem really real. He asked me what hours I would be able to work and how many days out of the week as well. I was sent an offer letter along with a check for $2,550.00 to my name via email and Fedex, which was claimed for the supplies that I will need to order myself. I was told to do a mobile deposit and send him the deposit slip. The check was sent by a David Jackson. The check has Guero Pallets, Inc on it. When I asked about this , I was told by Jeff that Guero Pallets, Inc is an affiliate. When I saw how much the check was for, I immediately felt uncomfortable with this whole situation. Both Lisa and David are on Linkedin under Allina Health. Please beware of this scam.

At first, I received a text message from Lynn Pohlman just saying 'Hi, (my full name) good afternoon. First red flag but hey let's give it a shot. She told me I was selected for an interview. I was instructed to add David Ives' email on zoom in which he would conduct the interview. Everything was done online and not a face was seen through this whole process. We have been at this interview for 5 whole days. He listed the job description and made it seem really real. He asked me what hours I would be able to work and how many days out of the week as well. I was sent an offer letter, a w4 form along with a check for $3,900.00 to my name which was claimed for the supplies that I will need to order myself. When I saw how much the check was for, I immediately felt uncomfortable with this whole situation and kindly asked for a phone number in which I can contact the HR department and speak with them about having supplies shipped directly to me. I still have not gotten a response. The funny thing is both Lynn and David are on Linkedin under Allina Health. Please beware of this scam.

I got an email by someone named Russel Wulf (hiring manager) and sent me to Tyler Thomas (interview manager) via Telegram. I went through the whole interview process all through message. Then was told to give credit card information to obtain working equipment. I was very sketched out and asked if there’s a number I can call regarding this situation (I asked both Tyler and Russell) and both disregarded my question and reassured that I had nothing to worry about.
Looked them up and they are no where to be found in Allina Health or LinkedIn.

I am speaking with a Mr. Thomas Park and he has asked me to purchase $700 worth of vanilla cards and then I will be reimbursed afterwards. Please let me know if he is in fact employed and this is legitimate as I really do what the job.

I was hired to work for Allina Health by Steven Carl via telegram. I was advised to send $600 to [email protected] for office supplies. Jose was supposed to be a vendor Allina Health used. Once I sent the money I was advised I had to pay $500 more to get the office supplies sent. I repeatedly declined. Steven and Jose are refusing to return my money.

The person claimed he was from allina health and was “verifying” Information

He asked name and address and then asked me if I still employed 22 employees?!?! I am the owner of a small business but it’s just me. I asked how he got 22 employees and he hung up. I tried to call back but the message said it could not be completed.
