They make contact by phone saying they want to rent holiday weeks in Vidanta(somehow they have information about your vacational weeks in Vidanta), they have a supposed contract with the details of the transaction, they ask that a deposit be made to a bank account in Mexico and that this amount will be reimbursed by the buyer of the vacational weeks. Subsequently they continue asking for deposits to make supposed tax payments in the USA and other charges derived from the operation, also supposedly they will be returned by the buyer. They always send false receipts of the bank transfers saying that it has been rejected by the Mexican government for suspicious money laundering. All the time they have excuses to continue asking for money and obviously they are not going to reimburse anything that has been deposited. Is a network that has people in the US and Mexico (they give a phone number of the Vidanta Office in Nuevo Vallarta) and also has as a company involved in this scam to a trust company that is supposedly the one that does all the transfer operations (h&w holdings ga llc)
