I received an email last night from a fake attorneys office, ACS Attorney, with the threat of a $4515.00 law suit against me if I didnt make a full payment for settlement payment by that day or the next for an owed balance of $984 to Ace Cash Services. I at first panicked and was willing to pay a portion of the debt to avoid the lawsuit. Something didnt seem right though. I've used cash advance places in the past, but never this place. I kept doing some digging and checked my credit report to be sure nothing was on there that related to this debt. Sure enough there was nothing there from Ace Cash Service. I then realized they sent the email to themselves and copied me in the email. They refused to talk with me on the phone and only replied once to my emails offering an installment plan to pay off the debt. Once I realized it was a scam, they did not respond anymore. The email was signed by a David Miller, Sr. Legal Adviser.
