I was called by a litigator threatening to serve me court papers that I owed a payday loan back from 2011 for $400.00. A.C.R. hired the litigator and was threatening to sue $900.00 plus court costs if I did not pay them. I had a debt consolidation at the time, Payday Debt Relief, and I called them and indeed this was paid in 2011 through a third party through Payday Debt Relief on my behalf. I then did further research and found out Someplace called UDP bought the loan form Bottom Dollar Payday in 2011 and another place called SeaRay got a hold of this information from UDP who turned it over to A.C.R. This was clearly a scam and I hope this information is helpful for someone else. I faxed over proof of payment to A.C.R. with the original account number and date of payment. I have not heard from them since.
