Recently, I applied to what I thought was a position with Walker Medical Solutions claiming to be located in Denver, CO with an office in Little Rock, AR. I got a follow up email from Paul Roberts from ACD Consulting Services, which appears to be a fake recruiting firm since there is an ACD Consulting Group but not one called ACD Consulting Services. The email instructs the job applicant to set up a phone interview on an appointment scheduling site, which takes the applicant to a site to redeem a reward card by providing survey answers etc. with a lot of personal information requested. This scam goes pretty deep since it appears that hackers are using a fake company with the website http://walkermedicalsolutions.com. According to the Secretary of State of Colorado, there was a Walker Medical Solutions, Inc., Delinquent August 1, 2017 with ID number: 20161225065. According to the Secretary of State of Arkansas, there is no registered physical office with that name in Little Rock. The job postings appeared via Indeed.com, LinkedIn and have reviews on Glassdoor, and pushes you to a job site called StartWire, which is also questionable. Not enough time to research it anymore but I hope someone at the BBB or FTC will. In the meantime, steer clear.
