This scammer contacted me thru craigslist contact info (via text msg) and stated the following: is your 200x car still available? What day of the week would work best for me to come check it out? They also made it seem friendly stating they were originally from Williamsport but recently moved (closer to my area). They asked me to generate a report from accuratebeepbeep.com "so I can see that the vehicle checks out before I come out to check it out?" Then they say "once I see report is good we can schedule a time to meet". And finally they state "please let me know if you can do that and forward document to my email [email protected] that would be great". I believe this website probably asks for your credit card info before generating a report? I never let it go that far.
