I received an email that is suspicisous for a phishing email impersonating my email service provider's help desk. There were many red flags for me. So I forwarded to the real help desk and filed a report in scamtracker to warn others.

I received an email that said my mailbox was 96% full and will be restricted from sending or receiving messages. There was an offer to click here and add free 20GB storage space to the mailbox size.

I was suspicious because the mailbox view I have shows a green bar with 8% used of my capacity. The email address in the reply to line was different than the From line when you hover over it. [email protected] compared to [email protected]
