Called me about a debt I owed to a hospital.It was 1250.00,or,600.00 cash(that's what the hospital asked for,if I had 600.00 with me.They told me they would get a judgment against me,freeze my account,until the debt was paid.I live on disability due to cancer(diagnosed June 2012).I was still on Chemo,and I didn't want to be homeless.So,I agreed to pay 20.00 a month,deducted from my bank account.So,I agreed.I didn't know that it was illegal to collect a debt like that.I never received any paperwork from them.I got suspicious,called the hospital,and they said they never received a cent.I cancelled the payments.I've been paying for about 4 years
