I was contacted by phone by Elliott D. Scott of Academic Tech Partners (210-960-4688 EXT 138) Email: [email protected] He then sent me information on their company. The company says they acquire technologies from universities then commercialize them and bring them to market. Elliot set up a call and Tim called me and wanted to see if I was interested in becoming a partner for which I would get 50% equity in any technology the company acquired. I had to send $12,500 for associated fees and costs first. This is when I knew it was a scam.
